What is PulseChain Law School?
I created the fictional PulseChain law school after Richard Heart, the founder of crypto assets Hex, PulseChain, and PulseX (described below) was sued by the SEC. People all over the world, many of whom had no experience with US courts, were confused as to how a civil case worked its way through the court system. I litigated cases for over 20 years and thought I could help people better understand what to expect.
Unfortunately, it’s not a real law school so you won’t be getting a law degree, no matter how much you learn! PulseChain Law School is just me trying to educate people on some things that happen during a lawsuit in a fun and entertaining way. I should also warn you that I write how I talk, and I was a sailor before becoming a lawyer.
And remember – nothing I say or post anywhere is legal advice. I am a lawyer, but I’m not your lawyer. If you need legal advice, go find an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction and ask them for it.
SEC v Heart
In July 2023, the SEC filed a civil lawsuit against Richard Heart, the founder of crypto assets $Hex, which can be found on both PulseChain and Ethereum, the blockchain PulseChain ($PLS), which is a system state copy of Ethereum launched in May 2023, and the decentralized exchange PulseX ($PLSX), which can be found on the PulseChain blockchain.
After the lawsuit was filed, there was a lot of confusion around what might happen, not only to Richard, but to his products. I had litigated cases for over 20 years and wanted to help people understand what to expect from the civil court process and how long it might take.
If you want to keep up with Richard's case, you can find it at the website below. You can even set alerts for new filings. Click on Richard's picture to follow this link:

Keep Me Going
It's tough to write when I'm half asleep! I put a lot of time and effort into my posts, so if you appreciate the content, tips are greatly appreciated and help me cover the costs of pulling documents and other court records from paid sites like PACER, maintaining this site, drinking coffee, ordering pizza while I write, etc. You can send crypto tips here:

Nuclear Herbs? What the hell is that?
Although I've enjoyed watching people speculate about what the username means, I will simply say that the handle is nothing nuclear or herb related. It is not a drug or workplace reference either.
I've publicly stated that I'll reveal the source of my Twitter/X name when the price of PulseChain ($PLS) closes over $0.05. Until then, it remains a mystery!
